Many times in my life, I have reflected my early education that included a solid study of design and art appreciation. Orville’s special brand of humor and his high regard for skilled craftsman has stayed with me. His advice to “measure twice, cut once” applies to all life endeavors.

You were very fortunate to have such a faithful and gifted dad. The many comments from friends and students are a testimony to his value in people's lives.
