Gina Marie Sexe was born February 25, 1969, in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

She graduated high school from Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico and college from Flagstaff Community College, Flagstaff, Arizona, and Luther College, Decorah.

Gina was an intelligent individual who graduated from Flagstaff Community College with a 4.3 grade point average; received a scholarship from Tulane University, but had to evacuate because of Hurricane Katrina on the day of freshmen orientation. She graduated from Luther with a double major in accounting and business.
